This article is a good companion piece to the reading by Gond et al. in this chapter since it provides a more in-depth look at the role of government in CSR in one of the contexts, Europe, that was briefly explored by Gond et al. The big difference is that in this paper, the different parts of Western Europe are broken down still further to show four distinct approaches across the continent. A handy list of specific CSR policies and programs is also provided.
