Welcome to the companion site for Digital Mayhem, 3D Machine Techniques: Where Inspiration, Techniques, and Digital Art Meet. Here you will find additional resources and images not found in the book. These resources include additional scene files, HDR scenes, additional renders, and models to use as you work. All of these resources aim to help you improve your skillset, broaden your knowledge, and provide additional viewing pleasure.

Frederick Tennholt shoots his own HDR scenes for use with his CG renders and has kindly donated one set of image files for your use here. The HDR image is 2K resolution so can be used to create a realistic background for your machine renders.
If you liked Zbynek Hlava’s dirt bike and wanted to see more of it, then have a look at these extra renders that have been supplied.
Richard Jusif has also supplied some extra renders of his steampunk airship but along with those he has the extra screenshots from the various elements in setting it up. If you want to see shots of modelling, materials, lighting set and rendering, now you can.
